Bagpipe lessons
Don Shannon has spent most of his four decades of bagpipe experience teaching. His students range from beginner pipers, to pipers who have played as the lone piper at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, as well as pipers excelling in grade 1 competitions (the highest level of piping).
Don is comfortable with teaching individual students, small groups of students, pipe corps and several pipe corps together. Don also mentors Pipe Majors within the NTCPD and other pipe bands he assists on a regular basis.
With knowledge ranging from the simplest rudiments to pipe corps dynamics, tone, tuning, ensemble and repertoire selection; learning from an instructor well versed with the world's highest levels of piping is the most effective path to becoming a piper or forming a pipe corps.
